Sussex SAR Pet Food Bank

Sussex SAR Pet Food Banks aim is to help pet owners in need who may require help during this cost of living crisis, to prevent the surrendering of their pets to a rescue.

Struggling pet owners can request the items they need in order to care for their pets, including food, bowls, bedding, leads and harnesses.

Our aim is to keep as many pets in their homes as possible and prevent them from ending up in rescue centres, or worse.

Our aim is to provide as much support as we can with no judgement to owners in the hope of keeping loved pets in their rightful homes.

Below are a few Donations that we have received from members of the amazing community and Wadars (Worthing And District Animal Rescue Services).

We are accepting –

Dog food in tins, pouches and trays

Dry dog food (unopened please)

Dog treats

Dog toys

Any spare dog beds/leads etc.

Cat food in tins, pouches and trays

Dry cat food (unopened please)

Cat treats

Cat toys

Cat beds and other items in good condition

Pet Food Donation Requests

Anyone who genuinely feels they will struggle to feed their dogs, cats and any other pets, you can get in touch to request help.

Do you know someone in your local community who is really struggling right now? Young or old, an individual or a family.

Are they having to think about giving up their fur baby as they can’t afford the food for them?  Are they feeding their animals before themselves?

Please do not feel embarrassed, we are here to help you.
